“Voting Rights” is Our Heritage Right in America

Yours and Mine

The First Black American Voting Registration Office In Panama City Florida 1980–?

Voting Right is Our Heritage in America.

“We are not tired, yet,” said a young Black American activist in Panama City, Florida. Some called the area, the Panhandle. Black American Activists said, “We are building on the blocks laid for us in the 1980’s. “In their historical and heritage coverage, the 1980 activists laid out the foundation of the 1940 and the 1960 Black American leadership that were told, “…not to allow Martin Luther King, Jr. in Panama City, Florida because the City Councilmen were handling the city’s racial problems”. (1963 letter to the Black American Preachers in Panama City, Bay, Florida)

1980, Gloria J Hunt Keith returned to Panama City, Florida with her husband, Arthur, Sr. and 3 established and Bona-fide Gifted Geniuses.

“I’ve been in Bay County for 27 years, and no other Black person has come into this town and made the changes that this woman (Gloria J Hunt Keith) has made in Bay County within five years,” said Sheriff Lavelle Pitts on Gulf Coast Community College FM Radio in 1985.

Arthur Sr. and Gloria J Keith led Panama City, Florida in a Class Action Suit against AT LARGE VOTING. “SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTING”.

Arthur and Gloria J Keith, Sr. personally travelled to find the best attorney for the case. The family sought him out and paid his travel fees to Panama City, Florida. And, made certain that nor other than David Lipman arrived safe and on time for the Citywide meeting held in a centralized church establishment within the Panama City, Florida community.

Gloria J Hunt Keith was the active paralegal for Attorney David Lipman. The Black American Community in Panama City Florida won the Class Action Suit. Prior to the win, Gloria J Hunt Keith was called into Mayor Clemens office to consider accepting the position of the very first Panama City, Florida, City Commissioner. Mrs. Keith was offered the position in the Leadership Class so that she could build her expertise in politics and other resources.

Because of a more major calamity trial against Gifted Black Children in Home Schooling, etc., within the state of Florida, that the State Department of Education and the Bay County School Board decided to take against the Arthur J and Gloria J Hunt Keith, Sr. family, Mrs. Keith sacrificed both positions and gave them over to Timothy Brooks and Reverend Charles Clark. Both Black males were members of an Executive Board of ACURE. ACURE was a vision of Gloria J Hunt Keith to be a catalyst for Federal and Private funds flowing through flying hands of those who had no interest in renovating Panama City Black American community. ACURE failed to provide the strength and love to activate its purpose. ACURE became a social group…

Gloria J and Arthur, Sr. was forced to fight their battle with the Department of Education and the Bay County School Board, along.

Ignorance set in the seat of the scornful and their appeared a headline in the Panama City News Herald, something about the Keith’s guilty of school evasion. A lie that was soon overturned by arbitration in Florida State Courts because of a “Racist Jury” testified by County Judge Ellison of Panama City, Bay, Florida, although the “records were expunged before Gloria J Hunt Keith, Sr. could acquire a certified copy.

GOD PROTECTED THE RIGHTS OF THE RIGHTEOUS. GOD WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE VOTING RIGHTS OF THE RIGTEOUS.

ANYONE IN THE WAY OF GOD’S PATH SHALL RECEIVE CONSEQUENCES ESTABLISHED BY THE HANDS OF OUR ULTIMATE CREATOR, GOD.

Respectfully Submitted
